Born in Barcelona Spain, Jesus dicovered his true vocation in Sydney, Australia at the age of 18. There, he enrolled to his first professional acting course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

In 2004, after a year back in Barcelona, he dropped his studies of eneneering to study at the prestigious Drama School Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. His insaciable atraction for acting drived him to the HB Studio in New York during the Summers of 2005 and 2007 where he studied with Edward Morehouse, Jim Boerlin and Carol Rosenfeld, among others. In 2009, thanks to an scholarship, he moved to London to finish his degree in acting at the Rose Bruford College.

His interest for other languages and cultures encouraged him to go to Rome (Italy) where he lived for 5 months, and Reunion Island (France) where he stayed for over a year.

Besides several Theatre plays since his early beginning as an actor, he has worked in several short films with young filmmakers, nationally and internationally. He got his first professional role in the TV series “Pelotas” from Jose Corbacho and Juan Cruz, and in feature films such as “Yo soy la Juani” directed by Bigas Luna or “Sing for Darfur” by Johan Kramer.

His first leading role comes in 2013 with the road-movie “Tercer Grado” aka “Day Release” directed by Geoffrey Cowper. He plays Mark Rodriguez a young troubled man who’s got his first weekend parole after 5 years in prison and will try to make it up with his brother Toni.

De origen Barcelonés, Jesus descubre su vocación de actor en Sydney, Australia con 18 años. Allí cursa su primer programa de interpretación profesional en el Instituto Nacional de Arte Dramático de Australia (NIDA).

En 2004, después de un año de vuelta en Barcelona, decide dejar sus estudios de Ingeniería Industrial para empezar a estudiar en la Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Barcelona (Institut del Teatre). Su insaciable atracción por la interpretación le conducen al HB Studio de New York durante los veranos de 2005 y 2007 donde estudia con Edward Morehouse, Jim Boerlin y Carol Rosenfeld, entre otros. En 2009, gracias a una beca, se traslada a Londres a acabar su Licenciatura en el Rose Bruford College.

Su interés por otras lenguas y culturas le animan a ir a Roma (Italia) donde reside durante 5 meses y a la Isla Reunión (Francia) donde reside durante un año y medio.

Además de Teatro, desde sus inicios como actor trabaja también en múltiples cortometrajes de jóvenes cineastas, nacional e internacionalmente. Su primera aparición en TV fue en la serie “Pelotas” de Corbacho y Cruz, y en cine en la película “Yo soy la Juani” de Bigas Luna y “Sing For Darfur” de Johan Kramer.

Su primer papel protagonista llega en 2013 con la road-movie “Tercer Grado” dirigida por Geoffrey Cowper. Interpreta a Mark Rodriguez, un joven turbio de barrio que después de 5 años en prisión, lo arriesgará todo para compensar a su hermano.
